My name is Mel and I married into the Lee family in 2006.
I’m a red headed Australian with a celtic heritage.
I met my husband-to-be in 2004 in London where we have stayed ever since.
My husband was born in England to Chinese parents who emigrated to from Mauritius to England in the 1960s.
Their parents had emigrated to Mauritius from China in the 1920s to escape the revolution.
They have a rich history which is mainly experienced through my Mother-in-Law’s cooking.
This is a blog to help document and share her recipes.
She is an amazing cook and I thought this would be a good way to make sure I learned how to cook them.
Some of the recipes are simpler than others.
